The truth is in the world already It need not be defended Truth be told I'd like to leave all conversations open-ended Why the need to win me over? Unimportant we agree My feeling is that we were never brothers, you and me It concretes my ideas to speak them So please don't make me fight Because I don't know what the fuck I think and that's alright I'd rather just concede while you proceed without correction For I will know the truth persists despite your misconception 'Cause in the city, your actions got no cost You forgot just how fucken rude you got Talk about your religion, but empathy lost Better to be disliked for who you are than for who you're not But who we are, anyway, I know it ain't one thing A good man to his peers can be a cunt when he's king I wonder why I try so hard to be considerate when we gotta cross on the path 'Cause I'm a wizard, I still wanna have some honour The concept makes me a damn near foreigner Guess your hardcore, well good on ya Your girl said no so much there's something wrong with her If people get the wrong idea I gotta let 'em - it don't mean shit to me over here Putting my soul into sound in my bedroom Can't waste time on ya, 'cause I'll be dead soon

I want to believe in you I want it bad All of the knowledge I sought, wanting so bad to transcend But it's hard to accept these old ideals ain't relevant Wake me up Wake me up I wanna let it go I wanna let her go I'll never find the one in the world, love isn't real There's only need, I know love isn't real She's so cold to me I'll never be content in the world, love isn't real There's only greed, I know love isn't real I wish she needed me

Paradoxes 01:51
The freedom well I chose was: see the cell enclosed And I'll reflect upon the world until when hell has froze 'Cause though I tell composed, I've felt compelled to pose A question in response to every answer spelled in bones And though I've struggled I've eventually grown I came to see that ignorance is something meant to be known Opinionated mothers melt and watch a set from at home But that's right, because I'd rather that they left me alone Not that I bother contemplating if a meaning's in between the lines It's just I reckon we'll be better if we feed our minds Can barely navigate when soldiers keep on leaving mines It got me blue but seeing red like I had bleeding eyes That's why I scream at skies, and long for heathen times 'Cause I resent the leaders breeding their deceiving lies We only see the light from stars when they can beam at night It keeps us down to earth as long as we can dream of flight Perhaps we had to cross the desert to drink Perhaps to learn the lesson first we had to step to the brink I needed empty paper down when I injected the ink How many more will have to die before it get's 'em to think? You have to listen first before you have the knowledge to speak some And who'd have thought I'd find me such a strength in the weak ones? Insanity is often suffered most by the deep cunts To find the ocean first you have to go where the creek runs
